1. ONLINE AUCTION

2. Toastmaster and Rotary Team Up
Mark Blackmore and Peter Hernandez from District 123 Division E, Toastmasters spoken on Toastmasters and Rotary.
The Toastmasters-Rotary alliance, announced earlier this year, leverages the strengths of both organizations to help members grow personally and professionally. Toastmasters helps empower people to become better communicators and leaders. Rotary is dedicated to humanitarian service, aiding others through fighting disease, promoting peace, and supporting education and health efforts.
3. Fill A Purse For A Sister Campaign
Our club was very pleased to offer $1,500 donation to Fill A Purse For A Sister Campaign. Angel Freedman attended in person and described the impact of our contribution. This donation was “in addition to” the 106 purses that we had donated this month. The Fill A Purse A Sister is a truely wonderful organization. Thank you to all of you who supported our efforts, including participating in our Women's Group Wine Tasting fund raiser!
Thank you to all those who donated, and dropped off their purses at Eggsmart in Richmond Hill and Dr. C.P. Giri - Dentist. And What a super-human effort by our Fill a Purse For a Sister champion at Richmond Hill Rotary, Veda Harricharran!
4. WOMEN OF INSPIRATION AND LEADERSHIP AWARD
The Rotary Club of Richmond Hill is very happy to announce its 2nd annual Women of Inspiration & Leadership Award, or WILA. The award recognizes a woman who has contributed to the greater good of the Richmond Hill Community through her leadership, achievement, and example of distinction. She may have done so through her contribution to a corporation, government, not-for-profit, start-up, or service to the community. The deadline for nominations for the second Richmond Hill Rotary Women of Inspiration and Leadership Award is approaching…January 15, 2022.
Leah Taylor Roy, Member of Parliament for Aurora-Oak Ridges-Richmond Hill and Hon. Ahmed Hussen, Minister of Housing and Diversity and Inclusion. both endorsed and commended the Rotary Club of Richmond Hill for highlighting the great work being done by local women leaders, and they encourage all local residents to nominate a woman who is making a difference in the community.”
Due to recent abrupt increase of infection cases, the club decided to cancel the physical Xmas party, instead we had our Virtual Holiday Party on Zoom.
President graciously awarded few members the recognition awards in appreciation of their contribution and dedication for the good of Rotary.

6. Elections for Board of Directors 2022-23
The Bylaws of our Club require that we hold election the first Monday meeting in December. Any member can nominate to anyone of the various vacant positions, please contact Peter - President Elect. for any possible position and details.

Rotary 2022 International Convention to be held in HoustonThe event will bring more than 20,000 participants from around the world and deliver $30 million in local economic
