Dinker passed away quietly March 11, 2012 surrounded by his family. There will be a visitation at Marshalls Funeral Home, 10366 Yonge Street, Tuesday from 7 until 9:00 pm followed by a private cremation (family and close friends) Wednesday at 4:00 pm at the Crematorium, 1591 Elgin Mills (at Leslie).

Dinker Joshi was a great Rotarian and always praised Rotary for its great works and fellowship. Much of Dinker's life was involved with the friendships he developed through his Rotary life. He was known for his sense of humour and genuine love of his fellowman. His favourite expression was "life is good!". Dinker was extremely well read and loved to discuss philosophy, religion, history and politics. He was a great chess player and lover of nature. He was a very successful businessman and proud husband, father and grandfather. He was loyal, trusting, faithful and generous in both his business and personal life almost to a fault. His captivating smile, ready laugh and witty and often disarming observations will be missed by all.
