Message from President David Tate
Last night Glen and I attended the District 7070 Rotary Foundation dinner at the Oshawa Golf Club.
The evening was full of Rotary Foundation information with Bill Patchett as host.
Special guest speakers included Past RI President Wilf Wilkinson and Past Rotary Foundation Chair Dr. Bob Scott.
During the evening District Governor Brian Thompson presented certificates to 17 Clubs who had achieved or exceeded 2013 Foundation financial goals.
Then DG Brian announced a special recognition for Clubs who achieved 100% member participation in the “Every Rotarian Every Year” program.
Surprisingly there was only one Club in the District to win this banner.
Yes - it is Richmond Hill. It was my honor on behalf of all of you to accept this amazing recognition.
Congratulations to ALL for your continuing support of your Rotary Foundation.
