ROTARY MINUTE - David Tate
David presented the Club with the banner from RI Rotary Foundation awarding our club the honour of having 100% membership participation in the Every Rotarian Every Year program.  Well done!!
 
ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR THE GOOD OF ROTARY
David T - He attended the Leadership Institute 3 day Phase 1 program.  Well worth going.  Anyone who would like to go to the next one on April 18 should contact David T.
David T - Hams can still be ordered until November 17.
Paul V - The Santa Claus Parade is Nov 23.  Please arrive between 11:30-12:30.  The parade has been shorted to 2 km from Elgin Mills to Major Mack (at library).  Please come and walk with our club.  All families, friends, Interactors, Rotaractors are welcome.  Let Paul know if coming.
Paul T - Christmas Party is Dec 15 at Oakview Terrace.  Tickets $30/member, $30/child, $50/guest.  Please RSVP to Paul T.
Paul T - Handed out announcement re the $3,000 club donation oto ABCD Tanzania project.  He was there and presented the cheque on our behalf.
Emmanuel - Friday Nov 21 at 6:30-9:30pm will be the Tree Lighting event at the McConaughy Centre presented by Arts R'Hill.  Free admission.  A donation to the food bank would be appreciated.
Jason - Reminder TV Auction Dec 6 & 7.  Items will be moved from Marshalls to Rogers on Dec 5 - will need volunteers.  More details TBA.
Susan - Passed around volunteer sheet for TV Auction.  Everyone should be participating as well as people are needed for pick-up dates post auction.  Nash will be taking over as Volunteer Coordinator so please liaise with him.
Peter - Presented TV Auction Poster.  Everyone please put up at your place of work, local shops etc.  
 
SPEAKER - CELIA ONG, RBC WEALTH MANAGEMENT
Celia spoke about estate planning, wills, executor risks & responsibilities, power of attorney duties.  Emphasized how important it is to have everything in place.  She also reviewed what to do if one is an executor for someone else.  She reviewed the many options there are for estate planning.  Very informative - thank you Celia!
