Special Guest- Jane Pang

Nash introduced Jane who is a certified teacher and Principal of Clearview School of Arts and Culture. Her main focus is researching how arts and culture education can help children find their true self. She encourages her children and the Club to see the performance of Shen Yun to see classical Chinese dance and music inspired by Chinese history and legends.

Ancient Wisdom and Its Modern Application

The Clearview School is located at Shepard and Pharmacy. Her goal is to have kids want to keep the Chinese tradition and expose them to culture and the Arts while embracing other diverse cultures. Jane also wants other kids to experience Chinese culture.

Essence of Chinese Culture
-divinely inspired
-cultivation-based
-self- disciplined
_veneration for the divine
Culture is shaped and influenced by cultivation. One’s professional level is determined by his cultivation level.

The Tang Dynasty is “the” model as it reached such a high state of democracy in that time period. The Destruction of Traditional Chinese culture and morality started in 1949.

Local Access of  Chinese Culture
Jane promoted the performances of Shen Yun for non- Chinese people to understand the culture. On Oct. 16, 2014 @ 8:00 pm performers and instruments from Shen Yun will be performing at Roy Thomson Hall.

Jason thanked Jane for her leadership at the Clearview School and informing us about the goals of the school.

Nash presented Jane a certificate of appreciation.
