Rotary Auction
Cheque presentations were made to charities.
Special recognition to member Sheila Harris for getting the most items donated to our Club.
Paul V. Special thanks to Marshalls for the use of facility and Rogers Cable for their services. Paul V. will let charities know what will be accepted and not accepted for the next auction. We need to always keep in mind the viewers perception. We are pleased with the results and know that the next one is going to be more successful.
Peter S.- we partnered with Rogers and got lots of radio coverage. We try not to spend too much on advertising so that more money goes to charities.

Gordon- “green room”- where items are moved through studio worked well. This is thanks to all the experienced volunteers- who he hopes will help next year.

Susan

A special " thank you’” to all the volunteers who helped out at the Auction.

Jason (Chair) -we raised $50,000 for the Community. We will need charities to confirm this years’ participation by the end of March. Will need items in earlier as well. On-line bidding is hoped to be up and running before the auction starts next time around.
Our Club raised $13,240.
Certificates of appreciation were presented to Rogers and Jason and Marshalls Funeral Home..
