Announcements Nash- very successful District Assembly last Sat.(May 3). We had 10 members attend (probably the biggest contingent in the District).
Ted gave a Satellite Club presentation and now 3 other Clubs are interested in starting their own. Samir has already made plans for our Club and he has planned a get-together for May 20th at his place. When they meet- they will decide on the times and place they will be meeting in the future.
Nash -mentioned that every Club that has organized a District Conference has lost money(except ours). We actually made money! For this reason the District wants some of our members to be on a Conference Cmte. to give support and ideas to help keep out of the red on the next one. Nash mentioned that we were helped last time by a grant of $15k from the Town of RH. as well as a donation of $15k from CIBC Wood-Gundy.
We also now have a new set of flags and poles to help kick off the next year with up-coming President David Tate.

International Night- May 9- Paul T. mentioned that close to 265 tickets have been sold.
Final meeting is tonight. Richmond Hill Club sold 170 tickets!!

For Good of Rotary

Jason- Auction Cmte. met before tonight’s meeting. Jason will forward the key deadline dates to members soon. Two more charities have been added for a total of 12 now. Jason is looking forward to a bigger and better auction this year.

The Jean Do story has hit the International Rotary publications. Should help to meet our goals.
Peter- showed picture of some members cleaning Rotary Park that was in the Liberal.
Dr. A.-this weekend is Camp Enterprise. We need  members to help out with the negotiation activity with the students. 9 students from RH are attending.
