Richmond Hill Rotary Club Park

The 22nd of April 2008 was a memorable day for each of us specially those present at the formal dedication ceremony of the Richmond Hill Rotary Club Park .

The dedication ceremony event was more wonderful with such a bright sunny day with so many in attendance.

It was an indeed a pleasure to have the park dedicated to our Club with the presence of Wilf Wilkinson, President Rotary International who made the efforts of sharing the joy in line with this years motto "Rotary Shares" .

To name a few we had the presence of Lynda Ryder, District Governor, PDG Bill Patchett, PDG Ralph Jones, District Governor Elect Mike Phelan, Doug Byers, District Governor nominee & Ted Morrison, Incoming District Governor Nominee several leader & Regional/Council Members Vito Spatafora, Greg Beros & Lynn Foster & of course our Chief of Police Rtn. Armand La Barge.

Thanks to Lynton Friedberg, Commissioner of Parks did an excellent job as Master of Ceremonies & so did Christine Morgan, Manager Special Events who put it all together.

This is a tribute to all for the continuous efforts that Rotarian put together keeping the motto " Service Above Self" .

What a wonderful way to close the evening with a dinner with Wilf and the new members of Rotary.
