Rotary TV Auction A Success!

After a lot of hard work by a lot of people, President Gordon announced that the Auction brought in a total of $66,749 this year!! Of that, contributions by our Club raised $19,699!! This is the biggest "slice of the pie" we have ever raised. These funds will enable us to continue our great service programs. Everyone is to be congratulated - well done!!

The Rotary TV Auction was held this year as usual during the first weekend in December. For a number of months leading up to the big event, all Rotarians and our supporters have been gathering items to auction off on Rogers TV. Hockey tickets and jerseys, sports memorabilia, gift baskets, jewelry, toys, golf packages were big sellers this year. And don't forget those "World Famous" ravioli rollers! A must for every household in York Region!

Money raised goes to support our Club's various local and international service programs and to our supporters this year:
- Canadian Spinal Research
- Cantabile Chorale
- Curtain Club
- Hope Shelter
- Newmarket Rotary
- Opera York
- The York Centre
- York Region Multiple Sclerosis
